The Christmas in July Committee has organized a benefit spaghetti feed to be held Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 hosted by the Eagles Lodge at 510 Greenwood, Reedsport. The $7.00 you pay for each meal ($4.00 for children under 12) will go to the 20112 projects of neighbor helping neighbor. This event promises to be fun filled with raffle's taking place every half hour, a Chinese Auction and a live auction at 6:00. Have dinner with us then attend the Moonlight Madness events.

CDABA partnered with Eola Hills Wine Cellars to offer its various holiday wines at special prices through Coastal Douglas Arts and Business Alliance, a local nonprofit, as part of a fundraiser for CDABA. The per bottle price for the featured holiday wines will be:

The Lower Umpqua Ministerial Association would like to remind everyone about the community Thanksgiving Dinner to be held from 12-2 PM Thanksgiving Day at the Senior Center, 460 Winchester Ave. Though the dinner is open to anyone as a time of fellowship, feasting, and fun you are especially invited if you will be alone on Thanksgiving Day or if because of hardship you are unable to enjoy your own Thanksgiving Dinner. Thanks to volunteers from various churches those that are homebound can also have home delivery by calling 271-3928 anytime before Thanksgiving Day. There are also a limited number of rides available to attend the Dinner. These can also be arranged by calling 271-3928.
Pastors Jim Ives of Covenant United Methodist is coordinating the volunteers and preparing the meal. Anyone wishing to volunteer or make donations may contact him at 541-271-3771.
