The Reedsport/Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help Project Graduation staff the registration booths for the 2011 DuneFest event.  The volunteer duties will consist of registering the participants as they enter into the DuneFest area and helping with other various activities throughout the five day event. We welcome all that can give a few hours; 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. August 3 – August 7.
The 2010 DuneFest was exciting and fun-filled, with over 8,000 ATV enthusiasts participating in activities throughout the event.  The Oregon Festival and Events Association (OFEA) awarded DuneFest its highest honor – The Ovation Award for "The Best Sporting Event in Oregon" and presented it to them at the Northwest Festival and Event Conference.

The 33rd Oregon Coast Music Festival will take place July 16 through 30.  The first week features the Bay Area Concert Band, Gypsy Soul, Jennings and Keller, Coup d'Bop and Lab Band Evolution.  During the second week the renowned Festival Orchestra performs three concerts with conductors James Paul and Jason Klein, and piano soloist Roberto Plano.  Mr. Plano will also perform in recital.  Three free events include traditional outdoor concerts in Mingus Park and Shore Acres Gardens.  Another continuing tradition is a special concert at the OIMB Boathouse.   For details and to order tickets go to oregoncoastmusic.com or call 267-0938.
