Bowlers of all ages and skill level are invited to form and sign up a team of 4 to participate in a fun Monte Carlo style bowling event to raise money for Great Afternoons/Great Beginnings. Cost is $80 per team of 4. This event is limited to 12 teams so pre-registration is required. Call Chris at 271-3926 or Delaine at 271-9700 to register or for more information. Snacks, raffles, 50/50 & fun prizes round out the day.

This new series of programs will look at the history of Reedsport area athletics from the 1920's to 1990's.    There is a rich tradition of athletic excellence that provides a different look at the history of the town and individual athletes who have had great success.

Mark your calendar: December 9th will take a look at the 90's.

                    5:30 to 6:30pm  We will have food for all and fun games for the children. 
                    6:30 to 7:30pm  We will have a line of cars and trucks with decorated trunks filled with yummy treats!

The Reedsport Church of God will once again be providing a safe way for kids to go trick-or-treating this year. Plus the addition of food and games.
 Also look for the inflatable slide, bounce house,  and jousting at the church parking lot.  (Weather Permitting)

Come join with us to watch the election results on TV and celebrate the wins at Bedrock's Pizzeria, 2165 Winchester Ave., Reedsport.  Douglas and Coos County Democrats as well as Oregon Independents, Working Families and Pacific Green parties gather each month to have an open forum discussion of the political events of that month.  Come and share what's on your mind politically,  or just come to listen..  It's up to you.  There's no pressure to participate and of course,  no dues or obligations.  Come and meet old friends and meet new ones who share similar values.  Come share stimulating discussion and great food at Bedrocks while we watch the election returns come in.  Regular time of 6 pm,  but we will definitely be there past 8 pm when the polls close.  After that,  who knows?  For more information,  call Dave at 541 271 9512.

Unlike many sports programs, the bowling team is 100% self-funded.  Our students conduct can drives and car washes to raise funds throughout the summer and bowling season.  BOTTLES AND CANS ARE GRACIOUSLY ACCEPTED AT REEDSPORT LANES located at 2606 Frontage road on THURSDAY'S AND FRIDAY'S FROM 3:00 TO 5:00PM.  Pickup is available if needed, please call Victoria Voigt, Director of Braves Bowling, at 541-271-2721. On behalf of the entire Brave's youth Bowling team we thank the community for past and future donations and support each season.  GO BRAVES!

Do you love to bowl and love to help kids?  Boy's practice approximately twice a week and attend tournaments on most Sundays in November /December and part of January. Tournaments are generally in NB, Florence, Reedsport or Eugene/Springfield.   If interested or for more information please contact Director/Coach Victoria Voigt at 541-271-2721 or at work 541-271-5610.  A criminal background check with National Center for Safety is provided by the team.  Thank you for your consideration on how you may be of help to this wonderful program for the youth in our community.
