Douglas County Democrats are again hosting our annual summer picnic this Saturday, August 1, 2009.  Everyone is welcome and it's free!

Once again the picnic will be at Scottsburg Park, on Highway 38 just before the Scottsburg bridge and the park is on the river side between milepost #15 & #16. Picnic will begin about 4 PM until about 7:00. Senator Prozanski and County Commissioner Joe Laurance will be attending.
"The Slough Kats" band will be providing great music again.

The Party will bring the burgers, hot dogs and all the fixings. Guests are asked to bring a side dish and a beverage to share. We especially hope all of our West and North county Democrats will attend, since we're bringing "the party" to you! Save the date, bring a friend, and we'll see you there!

It's always a good time at a beautiful park alongside the river.
