Tickets for the Rotary Club of Reedsport's community talent show are available now for just $5 per person. Tickets for the community talent show are available at the following locations: KDUN Radio Station, Umpqua Bank and Jitterbug N' Java.
The Coastal Douglas Has Talent!—talent show—will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Pacific Auditorium, located at the Reedsport Community Charter School, Reedsport, OR 97467. Doors open at 5:15, followed by a Name that Tune contest sponsored by the Umpqua Bank.

Topic: Garage Sale Fundraiser
Reedsport Foursquare Church will be having a benefit bake sale and garage sale from 9-3 Friday and Saturday, February 8-9. Proceeds from the sale will help send a team to Honduras where they will assist a medical clinic in improving the lives of poor Hondurans. The average wage in Honduras is $1.45 per day. Many families live in stick and mud homes drinking run-off water from the mountains. Two Reedsport families are currently living in this location helping build long-term relationships that may change the destiny of thousands.
Your help by donating items to the sale or buying items the day of the sale will help us support this work. Individuals with items to donate to the sale may contact the church at 541-271-4414 to arrange for drop off or pick up. The church is located at 2900 Frontage Rd in Reedsport.

Monday, February 4th Care Ware Uniforms will be downstairs in the conference room from 7:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The sale benefits the Reedsport Boosters Club.
Care To Talk About… Your Heart - Dr. Myron Licht, Reedsport Medical Clinic Internist, will talk about Your Heart and your risk for a heart attack or stroke on Tuesday, February 12, at 5:30 pm in the Lower Umpqua Hospital conference room. The conference room is just inside the lower level entrance at the rear of the hospital. Enter the door marked "receiving."
This presentation is the latest in the Care to Talk About series offered as a public service to our community. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments served.
