Calling all Artists, Crafters, Authors, Photographers - Art Fair –September 20th – Old Downtown Reedsport.  Also seeking donations of Art.
The 2nd Annual Art Fair will be held in old downtown Reedsport, Oregon from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2014.  This event coincides with the local Battle of Bones cook off and contest and the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Mindpower Gallery.  Artists, crafters, authors, photographers, and others who have original or hand crafted items and who would like to participate in this Art Fair should contact Kathleen Miller at 271-2101 or kkmiller@reedsportlaw.com to sign up for one of the free limited spaces. 
Vendor Spaces - Plans are underway to make room for vendor spaces on the sidewalk all along the Highway 38 (between the Post Office and the Eagles/ORCA Gallery).  Everyone will be responsible for all their own needs, such as table and chairs, and will work directly with the public with regards to their art or products as this is an informal event and no fees or commissions will be imposed by CDABA.
Art Donations - CDABA is once again seeking donations of art – art pieces of all types are welcome---both new or secondary.  Artists and owners of art are encouraged to donate paintings, ceramics, wood crafts, and other mediums.  The proceeds of the sale will support CDABA and its programs.  People who wish to donate pieces of art should contact Kathleen Miller at 271-2101 or kkmiller@reedsportlaw.com.
This year's Battle of the Bones cook off and contest will feature a variety of chefs who will be putting their best foot forward to make crowd please BBQ.  Tasting the BBQ is $10.  All proceeds go to local charities.
The Mindpower Gallery is celebrating its 25 years of business on Friday, September 19, 2014, with a special reception ad show featuring artwork by artists who have exhibited their work of the years, as well as a local artist challenge exhibit.  The celebration will continue on Saturday, September 20th as a part of this year's Art Fair.
The Art Fair will be an open air event---rain or shine---no there is no fee to attend or exhibit.
