Music Group "B Sharp" joins CDABA Annual Art Walk
June 15th – Old Town Reedsport
CDABA's third annual Art Walk will be held on Friday, June 15th from 4
pm to 8 pm in old town Reedsport along Highway 38.  A group of young
music artists, coordinated by Reedsport's own Jonathan Moore, known as
"B Sharp" will be performing at the Orca Gallery, 532 Fir Avenue
(Highway 38).  The B Sharp members are Daniel Chavez on tenor Sax,
clarinet, and vocals; Will Ring on trumpet; David Walters on drums;
Will Gagnon on guitar; and Jonathan Moore on bass and vocals.  Bring a
chair and plan to rest awhile during your art stroll.
The third annual Art Walk will be held between Rainbow Plaza (east end
of old town Reedsport) and the Orca Gallery (west end, across from the
Eagles Lodge).  There will be many open venues and a number of guest
artists lining Highway 38.  Some of the sidewalk artists will be Dan
Kenagy (photography), Annie Rains (handmade dolls), George McNair
(paintings), Dave Courtney (aerial photography), and Thelma Ringby
(paintings).  The Myrtlewood Gallery will have several inside guest
artists who will be featuring jewelry.  The jewelry artists have been
very popular and are excited to join the art walk again this year.
Don't stop your gallery hoping at old town—head on up to Highway 101.
The Myrtlewood Gallery, 1125 Highway Avenue (Highway 101) is also
participating and will be open until 8 pm on Friday, June 15th.  Be
sure to stop by and let them know you are "walking" the art walk.
Although this is an art walk, back again this year will be Judy Miller who
will have various garden plants for sale.  All proceeds of the plant sales
go to the AARP food pantry.  You may even see the Lions Club –
promoting its annual duck race.
Finally---the art walk's featured night is Friday night, June 15th – however,
many of the gallery venues also plan to be open on Saturday and Sunday as well.
