Thank you!
The Board of Directors for Coastal Douglas Arts and Business Alliance, Inc (CDABA) want to thank everyone who came out to participate in this year's St. Patrick's Day Trivia Challenge and Pub Crawl. Not only was the event successful in raising funds for the renovation of the Pacific Auditorium to install a wheelchair platform (as known as the ADA compliant seating), but it was also successful in other ways.
CDABA is pleased to report that the business alliance part of its mission was also in full force Saturday night in that the five businesses that took part in the event also had very successful nights. CDABA's appreciation goes out to the Eagles Lodge, Half Fast Café, the Moose Lodge, Schooner Inn Café, and the Tides Inn.
CDABA also appreciates the support it received from various people and businesses that provided prizes (saving the donations for the renovation project!). Thank you to Cut Loose Hair Design, Hair 101, Harbor Light Family Restaurant, Theresa Chickering, Kathleen Miller, Judy Miller, and Oley Nelson.
CDABA does not want to miss giving thanks for all the pre-event publicity. All the coverage through the Umpqua Post, The World, Coast Lake News, The Beacon, the Coffee Break, the announcements by the K-dune radio station, and the weekly email blast by Jamie Swafford, really helped get the word out about the event.
Finally a big thank you to all the trivia teams, the participants, the organizing committee members and all the volunteers. Everyone's participation was really appreciated and helped make the event such a success. It also made for a very fun and certainly memorable night!
Calendar March 17, 2013 for yet again another St. Patrick's Day Trivia Challenge and Pub Crawl. See you then!
Sincerely,
CDABA Board
