The projects have to be involved with heritage, arts and the humanities. This year the funds received total $13,342 which approximates less than thirteen cents per resident. You can support the Oregon Cultural Trust by selecting a cultural trust license plate and by donating funds to the trust and receiving an income tax credit.
The group is also seeking members to join the board and assist in the coalitions mission of supporting the arts, humanities and heritage.
In the Coastal Douglas area, the fund has supported: Tsalila, Riverfront Rhythms, the Oregon Coast Chamber Orchestra, Great Afternoons, Coastal Douglas Arts and Business Alliance and the Friends of Umpqua River Light.
