Lower Umpqua Hospital is hosting a series of free public presentations over various health-related topics entitled "Care to talk about…"
The next to be offered is Care to talk about…Electronic Health Records & what it means to YOU on Tuesday, August 30, at 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the LUH conference room with the Kathy Loftis, Director, Lower Umpqua Hospital's Health Information Management department.
Electronic health records is much in the news lately as hospitals and medical clinics convert from paper to electronic files. But what does that mean to the patient? How will patient care be improved? These and other questions will be answered. Everyone is invited to learn about Lower Umpqua Hospital's changeover to an electronic health record system. Free healthy refreshments are provided.
The conference room is located on the lower level near the cafeteria. Parking is available in the lower lot. Enter through the door marked "Receiving." Healthy refreshments are provided.
