The Most Fun A Family Can Have in the Sand, presented by the Reedsport / Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce
DuneFest 2013 will take over the dunes in Winchester Bay, Oregon July 31 - Aug. 5. Five days of family fun have earned DuneFest an Ovation Award for being the "Best Sporting Event in Oregon" and the 2013 DuneFest will continue its tradition of excellence.
The Reedsport / Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce invites you to join the fun on the tallest dunes in North America, where the best riding in the world takes place. Test drive the newest ATVs, and visit Vendor Row where it's packed with all the best clothing, riding accessories, and parts to dress up your ride.
If you're interested in the newest and the best of everything, don't miss the Friday night Charity Auction. Polaris is our title sponsor this year and they are bringing the very best of what's new to the stage. The 2014 Polaris RZR has been under tight wraps. There is a waiting list a mile long at dealerships all over the U.S. for something almost no one has even seen yet. But all that is going to change at the DuneFest Auction. The very first 2014 RZR is up for auction! Be the first to drive your brand new Polaris RZR on the sand, while being filmed by the Polaris promotions team, for an upcoming television commercial starring YOU!
DuneFest 2013 will feature the best Freestyle show in North America, when we host X- GAMES members of the rOtation team and Caleb Moore for shows Friday and Saturday. For the first time anywhere, the team will simultaneously jump a snowmobile, a side-by-side, a motorcycle and a quad!
The entire family will love the excitement on the sand where there will be moto-cross racing daily, sand drags, poker run, treasure hunt, thrilling freestyle shows and much more. Lots of activities for kids and a safe riding zone will keep them happy and busy all day long! Grown-ups are invited to the 2nd Annual High Tide Social on Wed. night at the Marina Activity Center at the Winchester Bay RV Resort. Enjoy the no-host bar with complimentary appetizers from Bates Steakhouse and a live band. A great way to kick off the week of fun, and meet new people. There will be live music to Rock the Dunes on the main stage Friday night with a metal band and Saturday night with Border Patrol playing hot country/rock. Test drive six new vehicles on display, go for a night ride, sign up for games and competitions. Something is happening all day, every day,
Spend the whole week with us, camping on the sand, or visit for the day with a $15 wristband and free bus shuttle.
Take some time to explore the area and you'll find 40 miles of undisturbed ocean front, excellent fishing in the ocean, lakes and streams, hiking trails, terrific restaurants and quaint shops, all ready to welcome you and your family.
