Recycle Old Phones to help Coos County CASA!

Dig out your old cell phones, PDAs, and inkjet cartridges to help support neglected and abused children in our community!  By donating your old electronic items, you will be supporting the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Coos County and helping children get placed into safe and permanent homes.

Stop in to any designated locations and donate any unwanted cell phones, modems, PDAs, and inkjet cartridges to be reused or recycled by Phoneraiser. Recycling these items will enable you to be able to help out a child in need. All proceeds go directly to support CASA of Coos County, which provides a volunteer to advocate for the rights of children in the court system. These children will be able to have an advocate by their side until a permanent safe home is available. The following locations are Phoneraiser drop-off points:

North Bend
 Aaron's (Bi-Mart Shopping Center)
 Video & More

Coos Bay
Wal-Mart (Customer Service Desk)
Abel Insurance
Yellow Cab Lobby
Newmark Center
ORCCA's Child and Family Resource Center

CASA volunteers lift up the lives of abused and neglected children in our community. Advocates are specially trained to be a powerful voice for a child and advocate for what is in a child's best interest. They work with case workers, community partners, and the court system to find a permanent and stable home in a timely manner.

Items donated to Phoneraiser will be recycled or reused. Phoneraiser makes your unused technology available to those who could use it, while keeping them away from the landfill. One phone or PDA can pollute up to 35,000 gallons of drinking water. For more information, please visit www.phoneraiser.com.
