WHAT:        4th Annual Wine &   Agriculture Tour

Come join us on Saturday, August 17th from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for a   Wine & Agriculture tour hosted by the Umpqua Soil & Water Conservation   District.  This year we will are visiting locations in the Elkton area   including:
Elkton Community Education Center where tour guides from the ECEC will take   us through the native plant nursery and gardens tended by Elkton High School   students throughout the year and to visit the Fort Umpqua replica.
Elkton Community Education Center will provide our lunch with a variety of   sandwiches, chips, cookies, and beverages.
Rick Shepherd's Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program restoration   project.  Property owner Rick Shepherd and CREP Technician Donna Fouts will   describe components of a CREP project applied to a working ranch along Elk Creek   where historical information was used to restore the site.  We will also   visit an oak restoration site, wetland meadow and pond while at Mr. Shepherd's   property.
Anindor Vineyards where Anindor's viticulturist will show us around the   vineyard, describe the art of growing grapes and making wine followed by wine   tasting at the vineyard's tasting room.
Admission to the Wine & Agriculture Tour is $25 per person which   includes transportation from Reedsport or Elkton and lunch. 
The bus will pick up attendees from Reedsport at 9:00 a.m. in the parking   lot behind the Reedsport Natural Food Store and from Elkton at 10:00 a.m. at the   Elkton Community Education Center parking lot.

Dick Williams in Reedsport July 27-28
Dick Williams, composer, recording artist and Bible teacher will be   speaking and singing at Reedsport Foursquare Church Saturday, July 27th at 6:30   PM and Sunday, July 28th during the 10:00 am service. Williams has ministered in   many local churches over the years bringing the simple truths of God's word into   everyday life through his music and teaching. His public ministry has spanned   over 30 years and seven different countries. He has played in coffee houses and   auditoriums bringing a powerful but gentle prophetic word for those he has   opportunity to minister to. Dick's rich bass voice and folksy style makes you   feel like you're sitting on a back porch listening to an old friend.

Calling all Artists & Crafters - Art Fair – September14, 2013 – Old   Town Reedsport 
An Art Fair will be held on Saturday, September 14 th from 10 am to 5 pm   and in old town Reedsport along Highway 38.   This event coincides   with the Reedsport Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce rib and BBQ contest.   
Calling all artists and crafters ---if you are an artist or crafter who is   interested in participating in this Art Fair as an outside vendor---please   contact Chris Adamson - 271-0313 or adamsinPV@gmail.comto sign up for one of the   free limited spaces.   Plans are underway to make room for artists and   crafters all along the Highway 38 (between the Post Office and the Eagles/ORCA   Gallery).   Everyone will be responsible for all their own needs, such   as table and chairs, and will work directly with the public with regards to   their art or products as this is an informal event and no fees or commissions   will be imposed by CDABA. 
REMINDER – Up Coming Events: 
August 2 nd - 5-7 pm – First Friday - featured artist – Connie Sayler,   fiber art at Mindpower Gallery. 
Augsut 6 th – Kids' Craft Corner (free) at National Night Out (local park)   – volunteers needed. 
August 31st – booth/table at Art by the Bay, Winchester Bay,   OR   (Saturday) for the free Kids' Craft Corner. 
September 6 th – 5-7 pm – First Friday will be hosted by Mary's Treasures   and will feature Vanessa L. Carlson, Happy Ness Art – Japanese Manga   Art.   485 Fir Avenue (old downtown Reedsport)
