Christmas Eve Service at Reedsport Foursquare
On Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, Reedsport Foursquare church will be having a special family style song service with communion and a reading of the Christmas story. The service begins at 6:00 PM and lasts just an hour with lots of singing, a story for children and a quiet time of reflection. All area families are invited to come and share in God's presence before opening their presents.

An ongoing support group for any adult
who is raising the child of a relative
Grandparents ROCK will meet on Friday, December 20 at 5:30 pm at OCEAN RIDGE RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY, 1855 Ocean Blvd to sing Christmas Carols followed by Hot Chocolate and cookies. EVERYONE IS INVITED .. the more the merrier.
Watch for details of our January meeting when the New Requirements Regarding Grandparent Rights Effective January 1, 2014 will be discussed. DHS and CWS personnel will answer questions.

Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum is open for the Holiday Season and Winter Whale Watch Week.
And to help celebrate the season - EVERYTHING in the Gift Store is On Sale!
From Friday December 20 through Sunday, January 5, the museum is open and the guides are leading Lighthouse Tours. The Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum is located at 1020 Lighthouse Road in Winchester Bay.
Admission to the Museum is free.
Guided Lighthouse Tours are $5 for Adults, $3 for Seniors & Students; Children age 3-5 are free.
Sign up for Lighthouse Tours at the Museum. Please dress accordingly for Winter Weather.
Winter Whale Watch Week is December 26 through the 31. Volunteers will be at the Spy Hopper platform across from the Umpqua River Lighthouse to help you spot the migrating gray whales. Be sure to bring your binoculars!
